Got home today and opened my Feb Automobile Magazine. Their long term Fleet Update reads:

"Toyota FJ Cruiser-17,100 miles. A cracked windshield has put our FJ Cruiser out of commission for nearly a month. Yes, that seems like a long time to us, too; we'd fix it if replacement windshields weren't on national backorder. What makes it worse is this isn't the first time the toyota' glass has been damaged- we had a chip filled earlier this year. The windshield's upright orientation catches a lot of road debris, and we're begining to question the durability of the glass."

Ya think...

Guess this little "editorial" by the Automobile can't hurt our cause.

Here's there website, but I couldn't find the article there:

I can understand the backlog on windshields, I have had my FJ for less than 2 months and just got a bullseye on the passenger side today. May be cause for an ugly bug diverter for the hood.
