Just installed the 6620 with back up camera and everything went fairly smoothly. My only question is in regards to the sub woofer.

I connected the blue wire from the crutchfield-supplied harness to both the blue wire and the blue/white wire from the head unit. Is this correct?

I felt the sub and could tell it was producing some sound but it just sounded much weaker than the FJammer. I can't really tell a difference when pushing the sub switch (also - the switch does not light up).

Any ideas?

Cheers,

I have the avic d3 and have noticed the same thing. the oem sub just doesn't work as good with aftermarket. I am planning on running an amp and replacing the oem sub.

Man, that's really disappointing. Any ideas why this may be? Do the new head units not supply enough juice to the sub or is it a wiring issue?

I assumed the stock sub unit had a small amp built inside the casing......is that not the case?

Hey guys,

Any idea if this wiring is correct? I just installed an aftermarket HU and didn't wire up the sub as I wasn't sure what was correct.

Thanks!
