I just joined and thought that for the small number of people that are signed up, that there were A LOT of active people on the forum last night.

Dunno ......but I was impressed. Not sure what you are expecting for a "non" club.

Summer is upon us....less wheeling is the norm til about October.....though night runs are starting to take off.

Go to AZFJ.org........that's were we all went.....it's very active over their ...in fact there are two or three runs this weekend.....

I will stay active here I kinda campaigned for our thread and appreciate the mods giving it to us. I will post here more often

I need to take a weekend off, so I can hit a run with all of you.
Maybe the gf won't chicken out, that I can't make any this week.

This place has way too many ads and crap around now. IMO

I agree WES which is why I hope AZFJ doesn't turn into.

The AZFJ site is by the people and for the people. I'm glad so many people are using it and that we've had DOZENS of awesome trail runs and other events organized... we've had at least one and often several trail runs going on every single weekend.

Rest assured, Andrew... that will NOT happen. BellyDoc's historic words about the "non club" are posted at the top of each page for a reason. We will not abandon that ideal and there will never be ads on the site. Period.

If you have suggestions for improvement we'd love to hear them. I'm in no way trying to "steal" people away from this site, but I'm sure improvement can always be made on azfj.org.

I think we've covered the ads thing already, but I'll try to put that to rest. I'm the one who owns server and the code. However, the domain is not owned by me because it was loaned to me from Doc. It was purchased for and belongs to the group. If at any time the group (or doc) decides that the domain doesn't fit their needs, I will gladly give it back. I have zero intension of ever putting ads on azfj.org and I'm pretty sure that's how the group feels as well.

It is rested, no hard feelings, now come out on Friday nights with us to wheel!

hah, I guess we keep missing each other. I know Heidi and I have both been out there on friday nights. Now that it's 100F at night, it certainly makes it a lot less appealing. =) When summer comes I turn into a bigger wimp than I already am.
