That is disturbing, the second major FJ crash we've seen followed by a fire.

That's not proof it's a result of the crash, but still surprising.

major accident and a roll over, im not surprised it caught fire.

FJ's dont have a good safety rating for rollover ... sad story

With 2 FJs catching fire after a crash so close together, it has me wondering. I would like to see the results from both investigations as to the results of the fire. I still like my fj though.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and families involved.

Alcohol was a factor! As well his headlights were out,another case for having DRLs! Condolences to the family!

I'm an LEO and I've been to alot of head-on collisions. About of the high speed head-on collisions have resulted in some sort of fire. It has nothing to do with design. The fuel lines rip apart from the engine, and the fuel will drip onto the hot manifold. Unfortunately it is just bad luck where the fuel will drip.

My thoughts and Prays go to the Families involved.

My Daughter has a Scion TC.. I cant imagine a stand off with it and a FJ.
From the description of the crash Its not suprising it cought fire, I am amazed it wasnt ALot worse.
