Cool. Glad to see it opened in time for Summit.

Sean
It opened about 2 hours before it needed to for us to have runs on it. Sadly, Poughkeepsie is opened all the way through, but I think we can still reach the wall.

Did you mean isn't??
See you 740 am folks in the morning for the BEAR!!
Just got back to the Hot Springs Inn from the Black Bear run. Thanks a lot Woody for such an excellent job leading/spotting/photographing! As a first time mountain wheeler from the flatlands of Illinois Black Bear was one hell of a way to start off Summit! The wife took a ton of pics that we will post up when we get home. Being the first "group" to go over the mountain in "08 was awesome! We hit the trail at 7am and we could still see the tracks from the bulldozer that was clearing the trail yesterday. We took Ophir back to the Million Dollar Road and then into Ouray. Awesome time!!

Poughkeepsie is not green all the way!, I got there on my own (by misteak) with the wife, 2 rubicons got stuck i went a bit a head till i hit walls of snow beds.......this is as of July 17th 15:00.

some beautiful crossings though...:rocker:
Thanks for the guide Woody!

As another one of the "first to run Black Bear" team this is what it looks like from the FJC when trying to negotiate a switchback. Nothing to see but blue sky and Telluride a couple thousand feet below. This trail is the icon of Colorado Offroading.... I did it... now I need to remove the seat cover from my a$$.

And here is what it looks like from the other side on Imogene.
