I would do harder, but Im still testing the limits on my FJ and I don't have a lot of recovery gear yet
You and me both! That and my young, dumb and full of...(nevermind) days are over with!

The only time I have been on ther first three is when we were snow bashing. So those would be cool. Carnage yeah not a chance here either. The plane crash sounds cool I haven't been there yet. These are all closer then 7mile, I think Ironclads is closed.

We did Red Elephant a few weeks back and ran into snow pack up there, not sure about now. Some of the same group also ran into snow pack on Bill Moore about a mile up.

A friend of mine, his wife and my wife and I went down to Rampart again today. (No wheeling just hiked up to the top of the Devils Head fire look out station)
Anyway we ran into some more friends, Joe and his wife (BlueThunder) on the way back on Rampart Range Rd.
We got to talking about this thread and next weekend, he mentioned the HDPE skid trial thing Shane is doing and how they compare to the Buds and Rastas next weekend too.
Just wondering, do you guys want to combine the two runs together? I am curious myself how they are going to hold up since I am naked under there right now, Rastas are being saved for as I speak, but if the HDPE skids work, why not.

During the week it is actually very nice up there, but you might have to talk to an existentialist, left-wing, granola, hippie who wants to tell you all about his Glock and how it relates to nature... :armed: "Here, check it out, there's one in the chamber but it's unloaded..."
LMAO!!! I almost forgot about that.

Of course we may have to take Jim along too, so he can talk in great detail with the said existentialist, left-wing, granola, hippies packing Glocks.

That was the strangest conversation I had ever seen, cause Jim is the total opposite of everything that dude was.

What cracked me up was that everyone was armed that day except ME! That won't be happening again and next time I'll two... or three...
Everyone except the guy going to school to further his career as a cop to boot. You may have been the smartest of our little group.
That was the first time we met in person and the day we broke the cherry on my brick, good times.

Hey guys something to keep in mind mdstrawn will be up here, we may not have too many opportunities to run with him since he's way down in Creede, so that area might be the best since he'll be in Golden this weekend. Maybe I can finally meet the COChef while we're at it.

I think the government may have actually solved the hillbilly problem for you...Left Hand was officiallyshut down to firearm usage a couple months ago.
While the rounds whistling by always concerned me, it's also the drinking and wheeling folk that tend to hang out up there cause it's close that bothers me. Trash was another problem too, glad to hear that's gone.

I'll do whatever you guys decide. Carnage is cool, since they'll be closing it this year anyway.

I am too lazy to go back and look for it, but I thought Jackie was looking at Ironclads for the Trail Team run and found out it was closed.

Looks like we may have two of our best spotters with us too. Eric and Bill, but I say "may" because Eric has got a family emergency that might pull him away this weekend.

I think it may take a little longer than 30 minutes to get there from that particular gas station in Boulder, but who am I?
Good point dude, I wasn't even paying attention.

Shane, there's a Diamond Shamrock right at the intersection of 36 and 66 in Lyons, would that not be easier, looking at the map ocr14a posted.

I'll be coming from out by DIA and Tony and Jackie will be too, I think it's easier to head up I-25 and if we're going to be going by there anyway...Just a suggestion.

Jock what time are you heading out? We have another *rick meeting at our house at 8:45.
So what are you trying to say? In addition to me there's another *rick going, that's not very nice Jackie. :jester:

I dunno, figure 40 minutes to get there maybe a little after 9. You guys want to meet at the Circle K here at 104th and Tower, about 9:15?

Joe are you going? Want to meet there and caravan up? Take E-470 to I-25.

And where's Gavin at? We've been going down and playing in his "sandbox" for the past few weeks, time to come up here.

My apologies everyone, didn't mean to cause such a controversy over where that DS is at, I was kidding when I said "There is too, at least in my memory" I could of sworn I stuck a biggrin at the end.. My memory sucks in other words, up until I got home I didn't even know today was Wednesday.
