Need some more input. On a somewhat regular basis, I haul a trailer or boat. FJ doesn't stop as well as I would like. So, I would like to improve my braking, if possible. I ordered Goodridge SS lines. Now, I'm exploring rotors & pads. For those of you in the know, any advantage to changing OEM rotors & pads to slotted rotors & TRD or other pads?

As always, the input is appreciated.

Thanks!

If you are hauling a trailer or boat on a regular basis, I would recommend a big brake kit for the front and stick with OEM rotors and ceramic pads for the rear. You can always get a big brake kit for the rear is you want to spend $$$ but, not really needed in this situation.

For big brake kits check out carid and the StopTech products
