Have had my truck for a little over 2 years now without 1 single concern!! absolutely the best Toyota I have owned ( and I've had 9!!) just recently however it has developed a very annoying squeeking or buzzing sound - seems to be coming from the front passenger side door sill ares. It only occurs every so often , especially when engine is revving high , but disappears when driving at a lower rpm - I've put some foam weatherstrip tape under the plastic floor - door sill area which seems to help a bit. This stupid little noise is driving me nuts!! Anybody else experience this?? Hope someone can help!! - thanks guys.

*Really* old post, I know....

Buy maybe somebody else is having the same prob.

Can't speak to FJ, but on my Suburban - which has multiple instances of what I think your sound is - it's the plastic they use on the dash and door rubbing.

I've tried squirting various stuff into the problem areas with no luck.

The success I *have* had has been from disassembling the problem area, lining the interface with material from a plastic trash bag, and re-assembling.
