THIS IS GOING TO BE A BLAST WE HOPE EVERYONE CAN MAKE IT. We will start out at ORANGE PARK CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE RAM on Blanding Blvd for registration, free breakfast, and t-shirts!
The end point will be in CAMP BLANDING! We have access to off road trails if you want to get a little dirty!


Little know fact that Camp Blanding has some really nice 4x4 areas and they will be open for us!!!:rocker:!!!

For those of you, like myself, who dont like scratches the roads in are TANK trails.

You DO NOT need to have a Military ID to participate in this run.

I really dont feel like being the ONLY FJC in a sea of JEEP's, again. :lol:

POKER RUN REMINDER & UPDATE
1. THE RUN WILL BE 50 MILES!
2. REGISTRATION BEGINS at 10 AM WE RECOMMEND BEING THERE 30 MINUTES EARLY TO LINE UP DUE TO THE WONDERFUL TURN OUT THIS YEAR!
3. ORANGE PARK CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE RAM WILL HAVE COFFEE AND DOUNUTS AT THE REGISTRATION.
4. REAGISTRATION WILL END AT 11:30 AM SO TRY NOT TO BE LATE.
5. THE SECOND STOP IS DICK’S WINGS IN GREEN COVE SPRINGS THERE YOU CAN HAVE SNACKS AND BEVERAGE PLUS PIT STOP IF NEEDED.
6. WE WILL NOT ENTER CAMP BLANDING AT THE MAIN ENTRANCE! YOU WILL HAVE A DETAILED MAP OF WHERE WE ENTER THE BASE! PLEASE NOTE THAT THE GATE WE WILL ENTER THE BASE WILL HAVE POLICE OFFICERS AT THE ENTRANCE!!
7. CAMP BLANDING IS ALSO HAVING A BASS FISHING TOURNAMENT AT THE SAME TIME SO IF YOU SEE POLICE ESCORTS PULL OVER THEY ARE ESCORTEING THE BOATS TO THE END POINT.
8. THERE WILL BE PLENTY OF YUMMY FOOD AND DRINKS FOR PURCHASE. I HAVE BEEN TOLD PRIME RIB AND SMOKED EVERYTHING. SPECIAL CHEFS HAVE PREPAIRED LOTS OF GOOD STUFF FOR US ALL.
9. THE THIRD STOP IS THE SEARCH AND RESCUE TRAINING SITE ON CAMP BLANDING VERY COOL & LOTS TO SEE! PLEASE RESPECT THE SITE AND DO NOT CROSS ANY LINES!
10. THE FOURTH STOP IS AN OPTIONAL OFF ROAD TRAIL. YOU CAN GET YOUR CARD AT THE ENTRANCE AND MOVE ONTO THE FIFTH STOP OR YOU CAN HEAD OUT ON THE TRAIL FOR A LITTLE FUN IN THE SAND/WOODS! WE WILL HAVE JEEPS LOADED WITH WINCHES IF ANY ONE GETS INTO TROUBLE.
11. THE LAST CARD MUST BE DRAWN BY 3:15PM AND TURN IN YOUR HAND SO WE HAVE TIME TO GO OVER ALL OF THE HANDS.
12. YOU CAN PURCHASE TOTAL OF 2 BONUS CARDS AT THE END FOR $10 EACH.
13. WE WILL ANNOUNCE ALL OF THE WINNERS AND RAFFLES PROMPTLY AT 4PM!!

Man I sure missed it. Hope it went well.
I figured everything happened out west. I live east of Tallahasse and could of easily drove over. I was at camp Blanding last month for 11 days. I got to hike around in the woods doing National Grid map work. Lots of deep sand. They trained many for the D-day landing on the lake there and housed alot of German POW's-pretty historically significant place.
Thanks for giving us something to do in Florida!
I will have to get my head out of the sand and be alittle more active on this site!

I would've been interested, just found this section of the site. If there is a next time, PM me, I'll be there if at all possible. All the places I used to wheel around here are gone now. Would love to find some trails.

My wife took My Fj and Eurovic was there as well with his... Only 2 FJs there. SHe Also said that there was a older gent with a really Wicked F-350... And a Heep Of Jeeps.... She got Like Only 3 Pictures of the WHOLE THING!!!:flame:
