Hey everyone, this is my first post. I live in a camper and move often so I can travel the country. What I want to know is should I upgrade to drilled and/or slotted rotors. I am on the west coast and do lots of driving up and down mountains. I can feel the vibration now when I hit the brakes so I know they are on the verge of needing replacement.

What rotor and pad set ups do you have on your car? Is drilled and/or slotted worth the money? Should I buy them online and do the replacement myself?

While you all are here, if you have input on the Bridgestone Dueler AT - RHS tires that would be great. These are the current tires I have but I bought the FJ when they were pretty worn and its about that time to replace tires. Going to be an expensive job but necessary and a good investment. If there are better tires for mostly highway driving (good in rain and snow) I am open to other suggestions.

Thanks in advance for you input.

By the way, I have a 2007 FJ (4X4).
