What a breathtaking trip!

4,000KM round trip with 2 FJ Cruisers and 1 Tacoma from Canada. Left on Friday, May 20th and just returned yesterday on the 29th.

It was mind blowing what the Mormon's had done to make their way through the San Juan Expedition in 1880. I'll start with the video and update this thread with some photo's from the area.

I was on a trip down there in early April for the first time and came away kicking myself for not getting down there before now since I live only a few hours away. I too was amazed at the work the Mormon settlers went through to find/make a passage to settle in San Juan County area. The town of Escalante just opened up a new center in dedication to this trail, with a museum to open in the near future.
