Damn Summit might Bankrupt me LOL

Getting ready for the Summit is not only exciting but costly. Not only are the MODS coming fast and furious (New tires today) body mount chop next 2 days, LIghts, CB etc.etc.etc. Add that to the list of personal items and damn this fun and excitement is getting frightingly expensive. I may even be doing some finshing up while the summit is in progress. Man this is too much fun. I just hope others are able to stay frugil with their mods. Oh look who I am talking to I am probably one of the more conservative amongst us.

My modding is not finished yet and I leave tomorrow afternoon! Wait til you see how much you spend at walmart picking up all the little stuff you need/want for the trip.

I just realized that I now need a 12v outlet in back to run my cooler. ONe more thing on the list.

What can I buy with lint?

Walmart and REI will be seeing me later this week too. I wonder if my wife would allow me to take out a second on the house. Oh why start telling her things I am doing on my FJ now.

Nope. All buttons in tact! But I still need help with that satellite radio. And my Bandi mount.

I cant even go there.........to remind you my rig doesnt want to go more than 12 MPG, we planned to buy a house....but now we are going to Ouray:rocker:

12 ouch!!!!!!
I was very worried aftetr the putting on 285 Cooper SST but I ahd to drive to see a client in Idaho yesterday and to my suprise I got just in between 17 and 18 MPG I was doing back flips.
But I think I see your trouble Seal you have everything plus the Kitchen sink in your rig. After looking at your list of MODS and upgrades I know that I am not worthy.
I look forward to seeing all these rigs so that I can plan my next mod. Oh who am I kidding that should be MODS.

bro...its a never ending story...and listen to me.....my rig is nada compared to others here ...like cruisrlarry's one...dragon, scorpion, and the list is long....(but mine is original withe old school white look;-)

I think I am going to cry...

I bought a fuse block two weeks ago off ebay so I could install an amp, some new speakers, my damn CB, my ARB air compressor, my aux 12V ports, re-wire my lights, etc, etc.

It's Friday. I leave tomorrow. The FUSE BLOCK isn't here, the mailman has come and gone, and the best part is I paid $40 for shipping for a 3-5 day service!!! :flame:

Joel are you near any coast? Marine/Boat stores have some nice selections of weatherproof fuse blocks.

I tried that, but was stuck on getting a blue sea one and no one had them.

Yes, I live on the WetCoast.

On top of that I just found out my headers won't be done until tomorrow! I was supposed to pick them up today. Now I don't have time to install those either!!!

Next year. My rig will be more complete next year.

I feel for you. Same thing here, but from wiringproducts.com. Paid extra for shipping which should have gotten it here last week. FORTUNATELY, it showed up today and can go in tomorrow.

My bumper is not back from getting powder coated, and I doubt it will be done by the time we leave either. I volunteered to lead a trail run a few months ago thinking for sure I'd have my CB set up by then. Guess what I'll be doing tomorrow besides an oil change.
I also found some BFG AT's like new for around $300.00 but I am worried about the rest of my trip. And my economic stimulus check never showed up (today was the last day it should have made it by).

Anybody have any good leads on a inexpensive CB radio in the greater SLC area?
