I run the Toyota one, Im pretty sure its mostly for looks but it has claimed a few bugs lives. It was on there when I bought my FJ. I believe the only deflector that works it the near 90 degree angled one(like the one from the 80's) and I am pretty sure there is a company making one now for the FJ and I saw one mounted on somebody's rig on this site...maybe search it.
