Yes it does. The front ones too. They're actually hollow..
Theres prob a gang of threads on how to take them off, and maybe more for people selling them.

you can actually do a pretty simple repair yourself

I had a dent in my bumper wings (thats what they are called by the way) and all i did was get a hair dryer and got the plastic hot and just formed it back to the original shape, good as new! :bigthumb:

They call them bumper wings the rear plastic bumper comes off real easy and the wings just clip in. If you heat it up you can push out the dent from the back side.

does the rear bumper have to come off to get the bumper wings off?

i will do a search to see how much a bumper wing cost

i tried to push it out from under the fj with a lonk wrech I have,
but it would not budge, prob cause
of the lack of heat.

thanks all for your replies, i am bummed, my previously mint fj is now dinged

Self repair and buy 'em used. To replace the rears, the back bumper needs to come off…easy task but necessary to do the job.

sent a few emails out trying to get a replacement
any tips on getting one cheap?

you all are very helpful, thanks so much,

i am felling a bit
more confident in taking it apart now, and i'd love to make some off road changes to beef my street only fj up, just with my children and all i'd never have time to go off roading

For what it's worth the kids love off roading, when they are old enough. It is a great family outing. Enjoy it you will be surprised what it is capable of even in street mode.
