Or just keep a spare ECM, ignition module, IAC, TPS, MAP sensor, alternator regulator, and pickup coil in your faraday cage. Change it out if the CME/EMP damages the one(s) in the rig. It's a lot to do but it's quite doable if **** hits the fan.

I keep multiples for two trucks. The other one has no electronics and has an early Cummins diesel & manual transmission. Basic electrics except for the regulator and miscellaneous relays, which I keep spares.
