I was thinking fire red color, and lighting up the night sky (which it will when I'm done adding the lights)

But I also need a good excuse to use this, its first *ahem*.. mod.

Thanks, it is enduring its share of jokes so far.
Worst I have heard is a friend calling it the ladybug. It will look a bit tougher once I get the mods on it

I gave serious thoughts about upgrading to the 2012 TT. I decided I like my paid-off Black FJ just a tad better.

Actually, looking at yours just got me thinking again. Why don't you drive that thing to my house and I'll help you put the front bumper on? I live about a mile from Expedition One!

The Expedition One is already sitting in my garage waiting for me to free up a few hours to get it installed!

If yours is paid off, maybe it is time to trade it in and start fresh
Keep the parts you like, trade in the parts you don't.

If you want red... better start tracking them though, they disappear before they hit the lot. Mine was in port a matter of hours when I bought it.
Also.. BlackIce... 2500 posts and no build thread? Or am I missing it? How do I see what this paid off black diamond looks like?

JL Audio Stealth Sub Install Pics

Day two!
It's a weeknight so I went easy on myself with a sub install.
Apologies in advance for weak iphone flash shots.

Here are the panels as they show up:

This is the shape of the box, it uses the blank space left on the passenger side:

Here is the sub all tucked in (don't forget it requires a different panel from Toyota)

I have always wanted to do a build thread. Work has been EXTREMELY busy, but it is something I am going to get started soon. :lol:

Very cool. Which panel do you need for the sub and what sub is that. I have a 10" JL W6 v2 and wonder if the magnet would fit in that enclosure.

Also what size are the front speakers. I have some 6 1/2 Polk components in my current car and may transfer some audio stuff over if they fit.
