Been getting the FJ ready for some extended travel this summer and decided it would be best to install new spark plugs. After some reading I decided to go with Denso factory spec plugs. As expected the FJ had Denso plugs in the passenger side head and NGK plugs in the driver side head.
IMO the Original Denso plugs displayed slightly less wear than the Original NGK plugs but was impressed by both withstanding 150K+ miles with no noticeable loss of function.

Yeah your due. Manual says to change them every 30K on the 07`s. :)
Lolz, yeah I’m actually mad at myself for not doing it sooner as I’ve been very religious at servicing this truck since it was new, keeping all the fluids changed at regular intervals, running Lucas fuel treatment every other tank of gas etc.... honestly though After seeing these plugs with 150K on them I would probably still not even think about it before anther 50k unless I was noticing a reason too.
