So I just bought a used 2007 FJ TRD. The truck has 67,000 miles and the original BF Goodrich 16 AT KO tires so it's time to replace them. The spare tire is also a KO and never touched the pavement so I was hoping to buy 3 tires, use the spare as the 4th and move the best old KO to the spare.

The problem is that the spare has ply rating 120/116s (8 ply) and the new KOs have ply rating of 123s (10 ply).

Will I have a problem if I mix an old perfect 8 ply KO with a new 10 ply KO?

Thanks in advance
