Hahaha thanks! Post pics to see how you have done it!
I will !!! I will have to alter a little too, since I will probably use a clamp on the roof rack, I might put a tensioner on both ends, whatever I need to make it completely removable (except the clamps), depends on the clamp. :bigthumb:

Installed DO Hi-Lift clamps on top of bumper, mounted the Hi-Lift, installed Limb Risers, and cleaned up the military medical cargo boxes

I'll post more tomorrow with more details for OP to add to his first post

I still haven't been by the hardware store to take product pics and part numbers, got hit with allergy onslaught form the pollen vortex, then cold out the ying yang from the polar vortex, peeling plastidip, powder coater down in the hood, and sheesh.

But here is the quick line-up from roof rack to bumper:
KC light mount
spring link
spring
cable (with vinyl coating and secured with ferrets)
double eye turnbuckle
spring link
KC light mount

The light mounts you choose are dependent on your tubing size you are attaching to.
The size of Spring Links you choose, are dependent on the size of your light mounts.

Here are pics of all of the parts except what you choose to attach the spring links to the roof rack and bumper:

It is the ARB.
I don't know of any racks that are easily removable or weak for that matter.
Mine is steel, and you're not going to bend the tubing from a branch.

What you have to keep in mind is this is glide smaller branches above the vehicle, not to move a tree.

I leave mine on all the time. I am using a Demello 3 hoop bumper.

If you can attach the caribiner to the rack that would be fine, just keep in mind it will move so metal on metal will cause scratching, noise, and rusting.

There are many low profile racks that you can get into your garage with.

The roof racks mount at six points, so if anything gets peeled off, it will be your entire roof itself.

As far as the wire, your limb riser will break at it's weakest point, probably the spring, before you ever get to the point of hurting the rack or roof.

However, if you are trying to move 40 lb limbs, you shouldn't be there in the first place.

I'd hate to see the ginsu-action aftermath of a pedestrian vs. limb riser impact...
do you hit pedestrians often?

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:
