Here are some pics from the get together at Excremet's house. We do these things pretty much every weekend, though this was a bit more of a chill session than a work day. Anytime friends can get together over trucks is all good. Lance hooked a bunch of us up with Trail Teams goodie bags, which included those sweet badges on our trucks, TT shovels, gear bags, and DVDs. You kick ass Dude! Not only do you hook us up phat, you are an awesome installer too. If you are in the area you should get in contact with us to see when the next session is! When I had to leave we had Seven FJs in the yard, including the TT that the dealer lent us for the party.

Cool pics. When was it and where?
So who thought of taking the black bumper pieces off the TT and sending it back to the dealership with silver pieces?

It was discussed

It was today (5/25/08) at Excrement's house in Bowling Green Ohio. It was an all day gig.... people came and went during the day. We did a scuba mod on TiTank's rig and a couple things to my rig. I'm not sure how much moding went on today, but it was fun. Started grilling around six or so. I'm sure they are still going strong! It was funny to see all the people drive by and stare at all the FJs lined up in his yard.
Seems like a fun day for you guys over there.:bigthumb: so, how do you get those trick TT badges cuz it seems like everyone has one but me????:mecry:
Were you trying to get it into the house or did you just want to park it on pebbles?

Lance had parked it with the rear wheel perched up on a rock in his garden to make it look cooler :rocker: It was pretty cool of the dealer to hook us up with a new TT for the weekend just for people could have a look at one. In the group shot the Blue and Yellow FJs on the end opposite my truck are a married couple. I think Kipp is secretly cursing Lance because now he has to buy a new TT for his wife! I think I heard her say "I think I want one of those.... I really think I want one of those", about twenty times. Start saving up Kipp!

Lance got the badges for us from the Trail Teams guys when they were in Lima Ohio for a monster truck show. They are pretty sweet badges. He said he has seen em on eBay for two or three hundred bucks!

I had to drill into my bumper to mount mine. I didn't want to put in on my grill because my PIAAs cover it up. I used a 1/2 in bit so I could have it mount up nice and flush. It turned out pretty cool.

ooooh man, i will gladly trade my stock trail team badge for one of those :)

good idea for the dealer too, they should run like sponsored events for you guys maybe at a trail or two so people can see what fj's are really capable of
Lance had mentioned something about the dealer being able to help us fund a local club or something. I'll ask him about it. He also talked to the TT guys about having owner trucks displayed at the events so people can get an idea of the possibilities and see what real FJ owners are doing to their rigs. The TT liked the idea, but said they had done it before and a person's rig was damaged. So they won't do it because of the liability. Oh well.
looks like a blast, glad you guys had fun! any pictures of the shovels.
Looks like a fun group, its nice to have get togethers like that.
The trail team badge install looks bad a$$$ in that bumper.:rocker:
Had a GREAT time! Thanks to Lance and his wife Kristy for hosting this event. Awesome food, people and hosts! Three cheers for FJs!

Thanks dude! It did turn out pretty nice, and I haven't seen one mounted like that before. It can be nerve racking taking a drill bit to your $1,200 bumper:eek:

Irish, Here are a couple pics of the bag and shovel. It is just a basic military style folding shovel, but it is a TT item so it is that much cooler. I just watched a show on the soviet Spetznas and how their favorite weapon is the shovel. They can do some major damage with one of these little things.
You should try to make it out sometime. You aren't too far away. When we organize some trail runs in Michigan, you should come out for sure!

Make that $1500 now! It does nice though. I have a badge too, but like you, I can't put it behind the 2 front lights.
