Has anyone put the sliders to the test that you can get as an option with FJ?

Yes, I ran them for about 5 months or so, but
later I wanted to keep tree trunks off my sides
some, so I switched to the All-Pro sliders...

The OEM ones held up great, I have no complaints,
I then sold them to another member here on the
forums when I had my new ones ready...

The OEM sliders are certainly stout enough for anything you're likely to encounter, and they are extremely well made. They do, however, sit very close to the body, so while they will protect the vehicle from something directly below, they offer little protection from the side. For that reason I sold mine and went with rock rails that stick out a bit further and offer more side protection. If you're not going to spend much time in the rocks then the OEM rails are fine.
