Are the front license plate screws a Toyota part?

I ask because the two the dealer used to attach their advertising plate, which is only there for the 90 days before I get my real front plate, is already completely corroded and rusty.

I can't imagine a Toyota part would have this problem, so they must have just put on the front plate with a couple black screws from Home Depot.

Anyone know?

Ha, thats usually the salesmans job. You will find they use whatever they have laying around their desk drawers, the parking lot, etc. Ive never seen a salesman open a "dealer kit" and install a plate...

I went to my local hardware store and asked the first person that said "can I help you?" for 8 stainless steel license plate screws.. Cheap and good to go. I used to have blackened stainless screws i found somewhere... but I forgot to keep them when I traded the car.

They have stainless steel ones at autozone. I think they were less than $4. That's what I have on mine.
