Just thought I would pass along something I learned while installing a new HU. I had a hard time getting the stock sub to work with the new head unit. I read and researched the forums, but there was conflicting information about what wire to use.

This is what I did --> Basically, if you want to put in a new HU and keep the stock subwoofer switch, you can do so by mating the remote out wire, which was blue/white from my specific HU harness, to the solid blue wire on the metra harness. Once plugged into the FJ harness, the solid blue wire should plug directly into the pink/blue wire that goes to the stock sub switch.

I was able to turn the sub on/off just like using the stock receiver. It seemed to give it a little more kick with the new HU.

I thought this might help a few people trying to figure this out.

Edit --> forgot to state that this install was for a 2007 that had the original FJammer HU.
