Just got back from getting my new Gobi Ranger Rack installed by the folks at Gobi. Top notch folks! The rack looks great and is way burly. They went out of their way to accommodate me. I ll snap some pics tomorrow and post up.

Here are a couple of photos of the new rack and the PIAA 520 lights. I think it looks great.
I added some back up lights as well to the rack and they really light things up.
The impetus for buying the rack is the fact that I am headed down south of Tucson for the Overland Expo first week in April and need to haul a ton of gear for the event. The rack will come in handy no doubt.

That's why I bought mine; needed to haul a ton of gear including and astronomical telescope and tripod for a week-long expedition with two passengers.

BTW, I grew up in Golden. My first real "paycheck" job was at Foss Drug.
