Hey guys i got a 07 Black Diamond Fj Cruiser in January!!! It was a 16th birthday gift (extremely lucky to get it). Havent done much to it yet except that i had Pirelli ATR's and Pirelli 16" rims. Im new to the whole modding thing but wanted to know what i should get on it first. Like ARB bumper, skid plates, moto metal rims, and rock sliders is what im hopeing to get. Any suggestions? sorry for the small pic, its all i have on my computer right now. Anybody have any suggestions of what i should buy first for it? And Jacksonville is where i call home, perfect place to go off roading

You both - teenagers - got FJs for your birthday presents? You BOTH suck! :lol: Do you have any ideas how many lawns I had to mow in 100+ degree summer heat to save enough money to buy my own car? And yeah, I did walk uphill in the snow both ways to and from school...

Yes of course i realize how lucky i am and thats why I take great care of my car, but I do have to pay for gas which can get tight. So im not off the hook completely.

Congrats and welcome to the Forum! Hmm! lets see, the first mod would be a 6" lift followed by Rims and 35"s then sliders and belly armor!!! Sure wish I could have afforded a FJ at your age!! After 25yrs of two full time jobs I finally purchased mine!

Sorry a lift is out of the question because my dad says it ruins your gas mileage with like 35" tires...so im really looking at sliders, skid plates, and a good front bumper like road armor or ARB

And you don't expect the added weight a bumper, skid plates, and sliders won't bring you mileage down

. Get a TRD CAI and then you'll love it. I have it and still lovin' it. And I know about gas, had to fill up $70 bucks today, luckly website business is booming
