It only took Toyota a few years to turn its FJ Cruiser concept into a production vehicle, and the 2007 model introduced at the 2005 Chicago Auto Show appears to have retained many of the features of the concept. The FJ Cruiser was a joint project by Toyota Motor Corporation and Calty Design Research, which also worked to develop the concept Cruiser.
