Tellico is truley a beautiful place. Yesterday was my first time in a full size rig and I noticed how much I missed seeing as compared to riding my ATV there. Up side was I was far less beat physically. A day at Tellico on an ATV will wear ya down.

Tellico is right in the middle of the Smokey Mountains and no more than a couple hours from places like Gatlinburg, Pidgeon Forge, Knoxville, Chatanooga, and Asheville. If you are coming from the West coast you may wish to see some of those sights as well.
Oh, I'm well aware that you live in one of the most beautiful places in the U.S. if not the world. I spent '06 on the East Coast Trail Team traveling through your area over and over. I miss it so much and if I didn't have kids on this coast, I'd be GONE from California. Nothing compares to the Carolinas. Nothing.
You're so danged lucky. :)

I have to agree with you MG, I moved here a little over 3 years ago from the FL Keys. I still do business in the Keys so I get back 5-6 times a year. I consider myself to be a lucky man indeed.
People always associate the South with Deliverance. The opposite is true, however. My opinion was turned around the first time I went to downtown Greenville, SC. Wow, what a nice place.

Next year we'll meet at GSMTR, ok? :)

Sounds good to me, I hope to be there more than just one day next year, just could not work mine and Heather's work schedules around it this year.

Oh YOU'RE Heather's? Sweet! I love her! :)

We are going to hold you to that. :)
Just remind me once in a while. I can't wait to get back there. Were all the usual suspects there?

Tony, it's beautiful there. Unlike the beauty here...just amazing. Water, ferns...ahh...I can't say enough.

Oh Heather! Those pictures are awesome! It looks like you all had some pretty decent weather. I had to wear my rain gear!
I think I can I.D. a few of those trails. The water crossing where the whole trail system starts, trail 4 & 5 with its rocky ledges and bumps, and, of course, Guardrail! Who was that going down it? I've only gone up that one. It took a pretty big bite out of several trucks!
