Troubleshoot code P0456 "very small" evap system leak.
Install a pair of Baja Designs XL80's on the A-pillars.
Redo the rats-nest of wiring under the hood for the light bar, fog lights, and XL80's.
Remove rocker panel switches and install a Switch Pros 9100.
Rework brackets for a pair of Corbeau Trailcat seats - move seat heater switches to rocker panel.
Install FJVistore headliner shelf.
Install the Kenwood.
Drink a beer.
I've been buying parts & making lists since December, saying when it gets warmer I'll get to it.
Well guess what? It's warmer.
It'll be a multi weekend install. I'm crappy at taking pics of the process, but I've taken enough from the forum. It's time to give something back.
Bob, W1ICW, Milton VT. Finally installing a radio tomorrow in our 09 FJ. Motorola MCS2000 100 watt VHF with a drilled NMO mount 1/4 wave antenna. I prefer the 1/4 wave antennas as they are more tree-proof and cheaper to replace than a 5/8 wave with loading coil. Radio is primarily for 2 meters but a lot of public service frequencies programmed into it as well.
Searched to no avail. To all the cb gurus. I want to rewire my cobra 75 straight to the battery. I want to use sae to ring connectors with the built in line fuse. Link below. Is there any problems using this type of connector. Also like the idea of the quick disconnect for a battery tender...
