Unfortunately, to me it looks worse than the stock plastic one and almost as low on protection. But that could just be the angle.

looks like it bolts right onto the ends of the frame rails and sticks out another 8-10inches. I like it in a minimalist sort of way but it needs to be shorter to improve approach angles.
