Allow me to introduce myself. PoconoPAFJ 2007 Black Diamond which is the second best buy of my life. Obviously the first was my 1996 Toyota RAV 4 (2 Door) which I traded for my FJ. After 11 years of service 100k and never a problem, an FJ was to be my future.

At the age of 16 (late 70's) I worked for Mercedes Benz. The owner asked if I could do some work around his home. When I arrived to my surprise I found a mint condition FJ 40. I fell in love, but unfortunately, he would not sell it to me. So I was left searching for a specimen of that condition for many years. Well thanks Toyota as they have made it better and affordable to all.

About me:

I am in the electronics industry with more then 25 years of RF experience. I found this forum while searching for info on stereo upgrades. I will post a thank you in that section later. Stilling awaiting my first off road adventure which will be shortly at Raush Park.

PoconoPAFJ, welcome to the forum. I'm glad you're taking it out so soon. It's really what the FJ is all about. :)

Welcome and your in a prime location. There's a lot coming up at Rausch Creek over the Summer. The Coal Miner Classic, Northeast Toyota Takeover, and a couple more. There is also a run in Maine in September that we are gettting pumped for, The Northeast Lobster Run. Our group was at Rausch over Easter weekend and we had a blast. 42 Rigs on Day 2. See ya soon!
A very warm welcome to you!!! Great to have another electronics guy on board (I am not included in that group). Glad you liked the stereo forum. We really have some amazingly talented people here so enjoy your ride!

Welcome Pocono, I grew up in Bucks County and spent a lot of time on the App. Trail. Most times between Water Gap and Wind Gap. I wonder if Kirks Shelter is still there. My Mom still lives iin Doylestown.
Welcome Aboard Pocono!:bigthumb::wave:
Welcome. I looked for a nice FJ 40 a while back. Difficult to find a nice clean one at a realistic price. I love my 2008.
Congrats on the FJ and welcome to the Forum. :wave:
