So....no idea how this happened, but I don’t even know what the name of the part is to look up how to replace it....can anyone help please

Cowl piece
Not uncommon for this to fly-off if it was not replaced correctly.
Make sure you get the clips as the old ones are "one & done"
(and probably why it ran away)
they come black primer so you'll need to paint,m but there is color match spray paint avail.

Thank you so much! I bet you are 100% right since my hood was taken off for a paint job....the other side is loose too....at least now I know why...I’ll get the clips for the other side before I lose it too! Appreciate the help!

How about the drivers side cowl itself...it’s MIA....lost it on the highway during road trip.
