welp! It looks like I tore my CV boot yesterday at Imogene. I was going through the truck this morning and noticed grease all over the passenger lower control arm. The sway bar disconnect link broke off and went straight into the boot. Looks like all the grease is gone as there is a big gash. I am not sure the extent of the damage and how long I've driven with the damaged boot. I do know it was ok yesterday morning before leaving for Imogene.

Is there a shop local at Ouray or someone at Summit can help replace/fix? I unfortunately don't have any spare parts and honestly don't know how to (haven't replaced an axle/boot yet).

Any help is appreciated!

Since you’ve already run with a torn boot you might as well just reconnect the disco to the sway bar (new nut) and keep wheeling! I’ve done thei 3 Times, and even driven back to VT on a torn boot. Where are you?
