Hello all,

Yesterday I noticed that one of the small CV boot clamps broke and there was grease everywhere. Now, what scares me is that the grease looks like milk chocolate instead of black. Looks like when oil mixes with water.

Moreover, what grease should I buy to try to replenish some of the grease that zipped away?

Hopefully the pictures are attaching correctly. If not I'll upload at home.

The white grease is nothing to be concerned about. That's normal. Get a clamp and some grease and put it back together!

Head to a Napa or something of the like and see if they have CV grease. And then yeah just throw a big glob or so in there and re clamp it.
