I do not have any issues but..

You may want to pop the hood and take a few pictures to post just curious to see what the structure looks like. You would think they would all be the same but evidently not.

Regards, Andy

I have had this issue on a vehicle in the past. The mastic applied at the factory didn't bond properly, no idea why.

I simply took it to a painter friend who had the special gun (like a normal caulk gun, but with 2 plungers, so the 2-part 3M body mastic would come out equally, and was mixed by a special nozzle with a labyrinth in it for that purpose). Took him no time at all to apply and problem was fixed.

You can do it yourself, but the gun costs $45, and the two tubes of mastic cost $74 (enough mastic to do a whole car body and all 4 doors).

3M-042743M Duramix NVH Dampening Material - 04274$44.89
3M-085713M Manual 200 mL Cartridge Applicator Gun - 08571$73.99

Note that it isn't a continuous bead, just local "gumdrops". The mastic is solid enough to support and hold the panel, but not so hard that it would cause the outer panel to warp/wave with temperature change. It doesn't actually expand, because that could case panel warping.
