im trying to remove the black trim piece in the front of the hood where the fake air dam is. i am assuming the whole front part of the hood comes apart judging by the clips located under the hood? i am just not sure if the whole thing needs to come apart. if it does, does anyone have any tips for how to get those clips out without breaking them?

I have had mine apart but I did break the clips. I don't think its possible to do without replacing them.

thanks guys. ill make sure i buy new clips before i attempt to remove anything.
