Ok I know its been beaten to death about the chirp sound when activating the door looks with the remote. That I can live with, and actually like but...

My problem is when I try to use the interior door lock switch, to lock the doors when I am getting out my horn sounds.

Its really anoying, and I have scared the @#$* out of several people in parking lots, when I have forgot and used it instead of the remote to lock the doors.

Any ideas what is doing it, or better yet how to stop it from doing it. Oh forgot to say that I don't have an alarm system, its all factory wiring I haven't added or cut any wires.

I was trying not to have to go to the dealer since I have to pay $50 for them to look at it, but looks like thats what I am going to have to do. Thought I would try here for free before I gave them my money.

So far the forum already saved me once, got the warning lights after I installed a locking gas cap. Did a search on the warning lights and sure enough there was the cure, the threads got me the correct part number and the lights went away.
