Good morning all
i had a chance to get up underneath the fj this morning and noticed that the front tires are rubbing the mounts.
Anyone in the houston area able to help me out with a BMC? I am in Conroe but will travel.

If you’re still looking, I’m having duggy’s garage do mine this weekend. I’ve been pretty impressed with his service so far. I’ll let you know how it goes.

I also cut mine, and never welded it. Used a Dremel lol

If it is just a slight rub, it is likely just the mudflap anyway. You may not even have to cut the mount. If they are just 285s for example, and if you haven't yet....get it aligned. Tell them to add as much positive caster as possible. This will move your wheels forward and they will clear the mounts.

If you chop, do it like this (even if you don't weld it right away)
