Ok so we all are having great fun putting fat ladies all over our FJ's.....so my question is how much weight can this rig take without being detrimental to the basic structure? I am asking how heavy can it be completely loaded, gear and all and go 4X4 not anything extreme, but moderate off road. Thanks to the FJ gurus in advance.

I think I was near where I wouldn't want to ad more weight.
I weighed on the scale with my RTT at 5570#. Figure that's about 1100#. I think I was fairly loaded for a camploration. I refuse to call anything we do an "expedition". I think I may have a another 200 pounds, to add with food clothes etc . It did fine on the trail, but I wouldn't want to add too much more.

Yea well, mine is getting up there, 5,400 and more with the addition of hubby and I feel the rig is handling well on the OME's. I just added the winch and Metal Tech bumper and new BudBuilt skids and that's included in the above weight. But it is not a tank. So I understand it has limits and I would like to keep the weight down to a dull roar....
