Hopefully I'm not alone when it comes to being nervous on new terrain. Every time I push the FJ to conquer a new obstacle I start worrying about potential breakage or failure. It can be nerve wracking at times but is often well worth the experience and confidence gained as a result. If you can relate to "trail nerves", you might be interested in the following article. It's a small compilation of tips for reducing stress while you're wheeling.

I can relate. Great info. Fortunately, the FJ is confidence inspiring. :bigthumb:
Glad you liked the article and yes, the FJ is a great way to build confidence on the trail. In my case, that same confidence in knowing my vehicle will likely pull me through is what inspires me to try some of the more difficult obstacles to begin with. When it comes to trail obstacles, I've won some and I've lost some but I've had a blast trying every time, regardless of the outcome.
