Welcome to the madness. Oh, you don't realize it yet but it really is madness. Mostly manic but madness nonetheless. First the elation of the FJ itself. Then the first low comes when the realization sets in as to how many modifications you are missing.....sliders, lift, tires, snorkel, skids, bumpers, lights, cai, links, winches, recovery gear, chargers, sas, omg the list goes on. Then the high of buying your first mod, installation, testing. You begin to sink a little as the new wears off and you go for the second mod. Elation, relief. A new low, again. You still have not realized yet that you have succumbed to an addiction. A larger, more expensive mod and you are on top again. Depression sets in when viewing the credit card statement. The pawn shop does not offer enough cash for your much needed fix (she told you they wouldn't buy the dog for 3 grand). You pick up a side job so you can afford the supercharger. Soon, in a couple of years, the fog will lift and you see you can go no further. You're broke, you're tired, and your head hurts. It's time to break out the rattle can. No, not for huffing, it's not that kind of addiction. Once the money is done and you have exhausted the aftermarket supply...............get creative! Let's see what you got!
