I am currently installing Icons UCA's and I have run into an issue. I did know how far to adjust the threads on the heim joints. So I installed them as is. Well I have extended travel Icons and the UCA still comes in contact with the coil. Can I bring out those threads without damage? also do I unthread the heim joint or the length adjustment threads that is just before the heim joint. Anything helps.

The reason they are contacting the coil is because of the extended length shocks. If you "unthread" more to compensate, the UCA will still hit the coil at some point during downward travel. Keep in mind that the CV's will start to bind as well. IFS front downward travel is limited to the CV travel. I would suggest using a limiting strap, or calling Icon and see what they say.

According to the Icon instructions, it clearly states:
(note: do not change pre-set adjustments on the heim pivot bolts)
