<div class="msg-wrap">Great News!
We are happy to announce we are improving security across our network and adding Secure Sockets Layer or SSL to the site. This means going forward you'll see Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS); the secure version of HTTP, the protocol used to send data between your browser and the website that you are connected to. This means all communications between your browser and the website will have another layer of encryption. We take the security of your data seriously so updates like this do happen from time to time. There is no downtime or major issues anticipated in this change. If you do notice anything about the site operating not as it should please make sure we are the first to know. You can send a PM to this account with details and we can investigate. Thanks, and if you have any questions about this let me know.

My ESET/Node antivirus software has been triggered all morning by this change.

A detailed PM was sent regarding the issues we've been experiencing the past few weeks.

Thanks!

Now if it would only keep the spam away :spam:

Notifications still seem off as well.

Click on new likes received and it just goes to my profile page.
The spammers are getting smarter, the titles to their threads are starting to look real :) I now use the 'mouse over' the title to see what's inside

In another thread I mentioned that the only issue I was having was with "What did you do WITH your FJ today, Take 2... " well I was wrong, just now started having the same LIKES issue. Go figure :)

There seems to be one side effect...

All my pictures are hosted on my own server. They are all broken links now, in every thread I have ever posted in. The pictures are still there. If I load, for instance, https://www.fjcruiserforums.com/forums/4x4-off-road-tech/154384-warrior-products-bumper-install-not.html

And I click on "open in new window" on one of the broken pictures, it opens just fine.

Using the first photo as an example, http://marulla.com/files/crate.jpg works, and that's link I put in the post, but when I look in the browser's error console, I see:

[Error] Failed to load resource: An SSL error has occurred and a secure connection to the server cannot be made. (crate.jpg, line 0) https://marulla.com/files/crate.jpg

It is trying to load photos from my server with HTTPS, which I do not have enabled (and do not care to purchase an SSL certificate to do so).

Any solution that does not involve me editing more than 100 posts?
