Just purchased a 14 FJ with the off road package. Looking forward to putting it through the paces and plans to modify. I'm pretty new to off-roading. After taking my 17 Limited 4Runner off road with a group of Jeeps, I somehow was bitten with fascination of the FJ, so changed. Adjusting to a bit more spartan experience with everyday but really looking forward to giving it a workout. Looking forward to learning and putting my own signature on the ride. It seems like stock can already handle quite a bit. Living near Cincinnati. If anyone knows of cool places to go, let me know.

Hi, BTiz, welcome from up in central Ohio!

I don't know your area really well, but some local RR owners go to the Chillicothe/Wayne NF/Hocking Hills SP area.
I know a Landcruiser guy in Indy that likes to go down to Red River Gorge Southeast of Lexington. Not sure if that's faster from Cincy or not.

One of of the forum regulars, Cliffy is over East of you and probably has some good suggestions.
