Alright boys and girls its time for Jambo again, figured id organize a convoy from the dallas area again.

Last year we left Thursday morning real early to get there in time, I plan on the same thing again. only difference is I'm leaving from Bedford this year instead of Prosper. no biggy if I haveto drive north a bit for the meetup though the convoy thing is fun I figure its worth it.

Early plan (subject to change)*

Meet 7:30 am may 3rd at Shell gas station (4400 Bass Pro Dr, Garland, TX 75043)... again this is subject to change to whatever works best for the group
On the road 7:45 am
Gas Stop in Gilmer 9:40
At the gate by 9:50

Lemme know where yall are comin from we'll figure it out cheers

like I said that's just a temp meeting spot we'll figure out a good spot for everyone once we know whos interested, had like 8 trucks last year I think

I'm in Arlington. Normally I go straight across I-20 and up to Gilmer.
However, Last time I went to Barnwell, we went west just north of Rockwall across Lake Tawakoni somewhere and in to Gilmer. it was a fun little back road trip.
Here's the track on Google Maps:

It's definitely not all interstate, lol
If you're in a hurry to get there, then it's not for you.
If you don't mind driving through a few towns and seeing some country, then it's perfect.
dosent seem to be much interest in the convoy this year anyways so

I would have joined in on the convoy. I had my registration done and hotel booked. Then my daughter informed me she has an ice skating competition and a piano recital both in the same weekend. She already missed one from both events so had to go to this one. Oh well, would have been fun. Try again next year.
