After owning my FJ for over 3 years, I finally decided to start my build thread for the FJ's progression. Originally from the SF bay area, I am now located in North County SD area for grad school. It's been a slow build but I have been very happy with my FJ and plan on continuing to wheel it and mod it for much longer.

Man it looks really good. I'm waiting for Relentless fab's spring sale to get myself a bumper as well.

Did you compare how much droop the extended radflos add compare to the Toytec? From the picture the two coilovers have about the same length side by side fully extended. I recently installed Total Chaos 2" LT with SAW. Here is a side by side comparison with Toytec Boss w/LR UCA. It didn't add as much as I expected, around 1.75" of droop. Should be a little more uptravel as well. But it behaves quite differently from stock geometry.

Great build ! i have one question about the coilovers. since u tried both (( BOSS and Radflos )) which one did u like more ? currently i got OMEs and i hate it because of the sag, and now I'm looking for a replacement. i already got a UCA and I'm lost between ToyTec BOSS or Radflo 2.5 extended travel.

I haven't had the chance to test the radflos offroad yet, but on road they are very smooth, especially during higher speeds. That being said, the toytec BOSS was a great coilover on and off road and I was satisfied with its performance.

I don't know what kind of wheeling you do over in Dubai, but I am assuming a lot of desert runs. If you're going to be going faster off road, go with the Radflos as the 2.5" shock diameter will provide much better dampening than the BOSS.

Hey John,

The LED bar looks great with the BajaRack! I see you went hard-core and drilled the roof. :surprise What connector did you use and where did you get it? I still need to mod my WAAG drop-in to accommodate my 42" LED bar and am leaning toward the non-intrusive A-pillar route. How tough was it dropping a corner of the headliner?

Thanks,
Jeff
