I did the headlights in Taira and I have to agree with you. Thank you for the part numbers for the others. It's only a matter of time before I swap them all out. 
Just Changed all the Bulbs to PIAA !!!! Best 80 bucks I spent!!!
I just put in all the PIAA bulbs for the headlights, dome lights, mirror lights, & back up lights.
WOW... Every one of those changes was so well worth it.
The headlights rock! WAY brighter...
The dome lights make it look so sick inside. I think those cost 12 bucks for the pair. That makes it look so much nicer inside.
The backups are so much brighter... and the mirror lights get rid of that nasty faded yellow.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I think I saw a post on the forum where someone had done exactly the same setup , but I think they changed out the license plate lights as well in the rear. I think they are the same bulbs as the mirror lights but I cant confirm. How did you get the mirrors off to get to the mirror lights? The manual says you have to get up in there with a thin screwdriver and pry the mirror off the plastic claws which hold it to the mount, and says heating up the mirror helps. Is there any trick to this? I hate the plastic claws, always afraid of snaapping the mfs off..

There are some good threads with pics on this (from Chatsworth maybe?). Just do a search. I hear what you are saying as I thought I had shattered both of my side mirrors while removing them. Despite the pressure that needs to be applied to pop them off, they seem to survive ok. Good luck!

I replaced my headlights with PIAA H4's as well after Northshore Vodoo recommended them and it's a huge difference. Overhead interior are next, can't find anything in the center storage at night....
can the electrical system handle the bulbs? I replaced my bulbs in my explorer a few years ago (with xenon's), and blew out the lighting circuit.

The PIAA H4's actually draw less juice than stock...
