Uh, you are in canada. The home of socialism and polar bears. I am in Texas, the free and independent state that stands alone in the Conntinental U.S. We have oil running through our pipes here so gas is traditionally lower than anywhere else. As long as this tyranny stands, I can't be silenced. Fear of civil war in another country should have no bearing on our gas prices spiking 28 cents overnight. That is a travesty and I won't tolerate such rude behavior. :rocker:

Quit yer belly aching.......just paid $5.20 a gallon this morning and we make the stuff here.

Well, you got me there! I apologize for forgetting the national pasttime of Canada. Also, I hear you have good maple syrup there and that you have some gorgeous mountains. Also, I did forget Dudley Doright. Let's not fail to mention him again.

You forgot hockey.

We've been paying $3.80 to $3.90 for several weeks now (for 87).
Same over here.... I just belly up to the pump and don't pay attention to the price much anymore, I just pay because there's not much else I can do obviously which puts me at the mercy of the oil companies. I did drive across Canada coast to coast long ago because the cost was much less as they exported more than they used. I just chock it up to the cost of freedom and convenience, as a small amount of fuel does a lot of work when you think about it... I ain't getting no push mower anytime soon...
I'll show my age a little here, I too remember the "gas wars" when it was 24 cents a gallon and I'd use a glass bottle as a fuel container to get it home to my mini bike.... Like I was saying, "Freedom"....
