Just placed the order for the toytec ultimate lift.
Super stooked and crazy nervous!

Tires are super expensive! and the lift is not exactly cheap either!

I got the garage all measured, adjusted the garage door, should still fit!
I'll post pics in a week or so when done!

I have a TTU on my rig. I'm very happy with it.

Great lift! I had BFG A/T's for a about 40K miles and then switched to the Hankook Dynapro MT in a 285 and have been very, very satisfied on and offroad.

I think I am about to go this same route. What tires and size are you going with?
I'm going with 255/85/16
BFG's KM2's.

I have them on order. I got a local tire place to match tireracks pricing. So for the best deal and good reputation of tire and a suitable known tire size, is what drove my choice.
I was deciding between the 285/75/16 and the 255/85/16
The 285's are a bit wider, and since I did not go with the upgraded UCA's, I did not want to risk rubbing....

Lift came in a day early! :bigthumb:
Started the install last night, got the front done no problem.
Today, adujsted front coil overs (omg tooks like 2 hours!)
Then installed rear springs and shock (new rear springs were a big pain in the butt, until I called toytec, and they gave some awesome tips, Thanks!)

Before....

After

Ride is great. Stiff but not too stiff. Perfect.
I have learned so much about the FJ from this forum. I have hardly made any post because there is so much info on here - most of my questions had already been asked, and asked again and again.
I learned about toytec from this form! So glad I did!

Drove around for a few days.
Re-adjusted front coil overs.
Got it aligned. All back to within factory specs. (without after market UCA's)
All is good.
