I installed this months ago and I have noticed that sometimes when the engine is cole the engine sound is much throatier (if that is a word) than normal is there an adjustment that needs to be made? I have never owned one before.

K&N as in a CAI unit or are you talking about a drop in air filter?

If talking about just the K&N filter, mine does the same thing. Don't know why, easier air flow I guess. Nothing to worry about, I think??
