Interesting.

What will they think of next? A little expensive given the limited usefulness of the product, but if you're laying or parking on the sand a lot perhaps worth the price.

LOL!

Sandy Helicopter landing pads. Makes sense I guess . . .

Actually, if you were planning on camping at the beach (like Pismo) or in the desert in the sand (Eureka Dunes in Death Valley), it would be great to have a really BIG pad of that stuff to park and camp on (something like 30x30') but they don't offer anything that size yet and would probably be pretty large to haul and pretty expensive to buy (given the high prices quoted for the smaller sizes available).

Does anything think the smaller sizes might work as traction pads in the sand? If so, they would be a great alternative to sand rails or carpet remnants.
